Venetian Plastering Courses - 10 Day Courses

Our 10 day Venetian Marble Plastering Coursewill cover the entire process for the application of numerous Venetian Marble Plastering finishes. When you book on this course a Marble Plastering tutorial DVD will be sent to you with your confirmation pack. On completion of your course you will receive an 'Approved Italian Polished Plastering Applicators Certificate'. The course is delivered in a tried and trusted practical format that we have developed over the last 17 years. The training is totally hands - on from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave enabling you to learn by actually doing. After step by step informative demonstrations you will then practice your newly acquired skills throughout the week. We have a limit of 6 - 7 students per course as this ensures that you will get the quality training and individual attention you deserve. The classes are intended to be fun, informative and relaxed whilst pushing you to your limits; rest assured you will feel challenged!

The course is aimed at anyone who has an interest in wanting to learn to apply Venetian Marble Plaster Finishes. There are no pre course requirements, except perhaps, a passion to learn and a thirst for knowledge. During this extended 10 day course you will cover a minimum of 38 different finishes. You will start the week by completing your practice boards, these boards will be yours to take home and will serve as your sample boards. During the 10 days you will progress onto our walls and ceilings and have ample time to practice your newly acquired skills, especially in the second week. This tough, challenging transition from board to small walls and ceilings and ultimately onto larger walls and ceilings is key to our training, as it will be these scenarios that you will encounter in the real world when you leave the course. By ensuring you cover a vast meterage of area whilst you are on the course we know that we have taught you the skills you will need for the future and that you will have the confidence tackle any project. The course will also cover how to applicate over all different substrates and will take you through each step of application including site preparation, priming the substrate, polished plaster application methods, colouring systems, waxing, sealing and waterproofing. During the course there will be ample time for discussion and we actively encourage our students to ask questions and get involved.

The presentation pack, information handouts and brochures you will be given during the course will also include your tutor's mobile number he will be happy for you to call him anytime for advice, whether it's just a quick question or because you need help in planning an entire project.
